Waste Management Contract

To Residents of Peppermill Chase

The association board has been notified by Waste Management of rates for the community. This is a process that happens approximately every 3-4 years, however, due to Covid, it has been over 5 years. 

Below is a table explaining the new rates. It reflects the charges for trash, recycle, fuel and environmental surcharges. Please keep in mind that the fuel and environmental surcharges are subject to change at any time, however WM expects the rates for trash and recycle to remain relatively stable.

The rates will take effect after March 1, 2022 for existing customers with their next normally scheduled billing cycle. For example, if you are on an annual billing cycle and it is due this September, that is when the rate change will be effective.

Not all residents utilize WM, however, if these rates are comparable or less expensive than your current charges, please consider switching companies. The additional benefit to the community is less wear and tear from heavy trucks traveling our roads on a weekly basis.
